Eye Wrinkle Cream for Treating Eye Wrinkles, Dark Circles, and Puffy Eyes
Men and women alike seem persistent in the proverbial quest for youth. Aging, though, is very natural and with it comes wrinkles. But people are fighting back; there are people who opt for the nip and tuck approach while some opt for injectables. But a larger portion of the population opts for the more affordable option in the form of eye wrinkle creams. Using the right cream for eye wrinkles, perhaps one that is organic or uses some natural ingredients will give you the most results.
As the skin cells age, they become slower in renewing. As a result, skin becomes flimsier, less elastic and more fragile. There is also less natural oils produced and as a result, the skin becomes drier and wrinkled. It is fat that keeps the skin plump but that also is slowly lost with age, causing the skin to sag and develop lines and crevices.
What you need is a moisturizer. It will help keep the moisture in and prevent fine lines from forming. Eye wrinkle creams containing tretinoin are often recommended by skin doctors. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A that has been observed to resist the natural aging process.Tretinoin can also help with other eye skin care issues as well.
If you have dark eye circles, using an eye wrinkle cream that has vitamin K and retinol can help. Based on research, vitamin K and retinol were proven to help reduce, if not eliminate, the puffiness of and dark circles around the eyes. Vitamin K is said to lighten up the skin and retinol is believed to promote collagen production, which results to healthier skin growth.
There are many eye wrinkle creams available now, including popular brands such as Regenerist, Olay, Estee Lauder, Neutrogena and LifeCell. Experts say, though, that in most cases, eye creams are unnecessary and are simply expensive. They say for most people, one facial moisturizer or cream will work, a cream specifically formulated for the eyes is not really needed. Thus, you may want to check with your skin doctor first before purchasing eye skin care products so as not to waste your money or be let down if they failt to work for you.Don’t assume you can treat your puffy eyes with a cream designed for dark circles, or vice versa.
Alternatively, you can concoct your own eye wrinkle cream at home. Add about five drops of almond oil in mashed avocado to make a paste that you can use around the eye area. Smooth the avocado cream on your eye skin area. After 5 minutes, rinse with warm water. Avocado contains vitamin A and vitamin K, which are just the ingredients you need for dealing with eye wrinkles.
